This commercial brightens up my day every time I watch it. It may be the sheer athleticism showcased or the fact that they’re all rather beautiful people but I think it’s most likely due to the utter ridiculousness of the scene. The giggles begins with the hand clapping, continues as the one man leaps into the camera.
But really it’s because everyone jumps in a wave like fish shimmying out of water. This is where the giggles turn into chuckles and it continues as they finish their little jingle “Happy do whatever you wantika and to all a cheery Night”
Well done Gap. I do not wish to dress like your mannequins so you’ve failed at selling your clothing but I do dearly wish to be on the set of your next commercial.
Note: I think I’ve pressed the repeat button on youtube at least 30 times in the past 2 days. I doubt that I’ll tire of it.
